Katie's Booties

My friend Katie made these for Elijah. He thought they were pretty cool, so did his mommy!

A discovery in the first week!

Elijah has a dimple! Although we have not been able to photograph it, we have semi-reliable sources that have spotted it on his right cheek. When he gives his smart-aleck smirk, it is in full view.

The little man is still doing well, only getting upset when people take off his blankets. He's definitely resting from all of the kicking he was doing in Danielle, sleeping quite a bit of the day.
Elijah also enjoys wearing a turban and dancing to Hindu folk music... at least when his mother is not around!

Elijah Timothy!

At 5:42 p.m. today, Elijah Timothy was born! At 21.5", 7 lbs, 4.5 oz., a 14" melon and HUGE hands/feet, and with the back labor and epidural problems, he was quite a task for Danielle.

Both Danielle and Elijah are doing fine, and Isaac is so tickled to see his baby brother! Enough of my drivel, though--here are some pix!

Blizzard Ali and STILL no baby

While there have been false indicators from Altru that Danielle and I have had our second, we are waiting until we are COMPLETELY snowed in before going into labor.

Don't worry, I have WebMD up, wikipedia, and a few ideas from sitcoms...

Entering the Blogosphere

Welcome!

While Scott may not have too much to add to the wisdom of the Internet, we figured we would set up a blog for our expanding family.

Danielle's doing well, and the baby is a fetal Pele.  At some point, the baby's going to break free and watch out world!

Isaac is very excited for the baby to come, and will make a great big brother--he often wants to cover the baby with his fringy.  The baby typically responds to Isaac by kicking him.  By contrast, Scott wants to name the "Michigan J Frog II" because the kicking stops when he is around...

We'll add pictures soon, and let you know of updates as they develop!
