Didn't really catch what Elijah was doing with this semi-functional walkie-talkie... Since his mom is buzzing our hair now, he was sure he could do it also...

Quickie...

House update...got the "new" part painted this past weekend, along with the old living and kitchen. The crew, aka family, will do the dining room, up the stairs and landing this weekend. They started putting in the hard wood floors today and should be done by Wednesday. In the next couple of weeks, the cupboards and granite will be in with the carpet for the old following. Amazing how quickly its all coming together. Dad has watched Isaac on and off while his babysitter has been at basketball camp. Isaac is starting to enjoy pushing papa around on the scafolding.

Everyone pitched in to do the insulation of the new addition. Eli took a header into the scafolding, but seemed to recover pretty quickly.

The boys had to bring out their equipment to help plant the garden, finally.The siding is coming! This is the moment I've been waiting the longest for...I have hated that yellow siding since I was a young child. Loving it!

The inside spray insulation is in and ready for the "real" insulation. Getting close!

Here are a couple things from the concert. The concert was in an outdoor staduim. We had went down early to a patio across from the staduim for some drinks and heard the Edge and the band doing their sound check. Scott literally started skipping down the sidewalk. Awesome time!

Celebrations...

We traveled this weekend to Winona, MN, just southeast of Rochester, for the celebration of the marriage of Jocelyn and Steve. The area, the day, the party...were beautiful!

Isaac....upside down....on the dance floor....with a blow up clarinet....laying down....perfect sense huh?

Have you seen the commerical for Microsoft's "the cloud"....with the mom trying to get a nice pic of her family for a Christmas pic....meet those kids in 40 years. I know there was a godmother that just said "Danielle Marie!" while reading that.....but you know its true!

Eli...he is one of the happiest...and independent kids you will ever meet. He keeps us laughing pretty regularly. He's started getting up from the dinner table and pretending to give a speech...and then placing his hand on his belly, bowing saying "thank you! thank you!" Probably shouldn't have enrolled him in diva preschool :)

Isaac finished up the 1st grade a couple of weeks ago. He's getting so big and growing into a little man. Last month, Scott and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary. As part of Scott's gift, we went up to Canada last weekend and saw U2. We'll have to post some pics/video...absolutely great show. Scott also got a new motorcycle that same week....will be hard to top this May for him!
