Da D Walk!

What a great day.... The Pumpers!

One of Isaac's biggest fans....

Thank you to all our family and friends that supported Isaac in this event. Team Pumped Up! came in second place for fundraising!! Almost $46,000 was raised at today's event to help end diabetes. Hopefully we helped take a step towards ending Type I diabetes this dreary Saturday morning. Thanks again everyone!

Pumpkin Patch

We took advantage of the gorgeous fall day and no school, and headed to the pumpkin patch!

10 Months & Creativity

Ahhhh....our ETC...what did we do before you? Eli turned 10 months last week. He's cruising around the furniture...still wonders why people hang onto him...then wonders why someone let him fall :-) Still always has this look on his face though. Pumpkins! Mic and Ian had everyone down to their place for an afternoon of fun, food and pumpkin carving. We all had a good time with lots of laughs. Thanks guys!

Good luck making that pumpkin any scarier Eli!

So many comments, I can't pick one!

Awesome job Isaac!

Our sweeties....the two can always make the other smile.

Awesome weekend.
Looking forward to this weekend...big Diabetes walk! Isaac's team, Pumped Up, is in second place for funding raising. Yay team! Yay everyone! We have the best family and friends! Thanks everyone!!!

Mama said....

Thank you to everyone who has sponsorsed Isaac for the American Diabetes Step Out walk on October 24. We really appreciate everyone's support for this event and day-to-day. Thank you!! If you would like to watch Isaac's and his team's progress, you can go to his personal page.http://main.diabetes.org/site/TR/StepOut/StepOut305608010?px=5309123&pg=personal&fr_id=6416
Busy boy...loves the heating vents and the chairs...
Soooo....Mama said there would be days like this. I'm going to blame it on the pain meds :-) I had my wisdom teeth out yesterday, its snowing and cold out...I thought some homemade soup would taste so good...and I could have some! Well...I bought a new kind of rice and didn't read that you were supposed to wash it first. Not good. Yes, this is chicken and wild rice soup. It tasted better than it looked...not that it would take a whole lot!

You are all jealous that you're having normal meals and we're having one sponsored by Dr. Seus :-)
Have a good weekend! Happy early birthday Chay and Dennis!!
I have to go...Scott is trying to teach Elijah how to moon walk...the soup will go away...his influence...don't see it happening.

Celebrate!

Happy Birthday Mick! I was trying to think of things to put on here that remind me of you...well, I came up with the Bills. Well, we all know the most "memorable" moment in Buffalo Bills history....doesn't seem very happy though, but here you go.

I was going to put "hey Mickey" on here...Scott was a little worried about my safety :-)

Happy Anniversary Bri and Latanna! Hope you guys were able to celebrate!

Snizzle My Izzle

How is everyone? We're good here, been busy, but good. Last Friday, Scott met his new teacher observer from Bangladesh. He seems pretty excited about having him. However, his significant other cannot remember where they are from for the life of her. Just so you know, he is not here from Budapest, Bolivia and Baghdad...no idea how to spell most of them either :-) I worked the Women's Show last Saturday. Then Scott and I headed out for a hot date...or some pizza and beer at Rhombus and then a walk down town. Stopped and had a couple at the Hub and called it a night. Pretty fancy, huh? Scott left on Sunday for the first Student Congress meet in Mandan. Ahhh, Forensics season...the grass will be green again before it ends!

This weekend Isaac tuned up some of his toys. Evidently, his Dingle Cogle was lose. Snizle my izzle, not the dingle cogle?! Don't worry, its fixed now. Whew! Then came the rain....and the watching of the rain from the porch....then Scott and Isaac took a walk in it.There's Elijah!
For all of you that offered, um, support? after my Medical minute stint....and the Quazi Moto picture on the Altru "physicians' site....for you, I just filmed part of a commercial for Altru....for you...I tried my very best to not look like I had a stroke...not to look like I just left the bell tower...not look like I'd been through "the ringer"....any of the wonderful feedback that was received :-) However, I believe this is my last photo opt (hopefully!), so I'm walking away....no need to call with suggested improvements! Scott was doing his Quazi immitation all weekend prior to the filming...he's so subtle.
Hope everyone had a good week! We were running, but it was good.
