Little more drivel from our neck of the woods. Last weekend, Scott and I took Isaac to a Redhawks game. Had a great time...beautiful night for a game. Isaac was so excited to potentially catch a ball...then he realized how fast the ball was coming and had an epiphany. After the tears, we all had a great time.

Took a moment to have a family rock out session on the way home, I believe to Tom Petty. Not sure if all Thompson kindergarteners are big Petty fans, but this one sure is!Isaac got a new bat...did a little tee/pitching to him. He did pretty well. The outfit needs a little work....
Eli was just happy to be a safe distance away.
Scott and Isaac did their first "outdoor" campout of the season. Not sure all the pieces mad it to the final "tent" product, but they seemed to be enjoying themselves.

While Scott was took a break from teaching Isaac tent skills, Isaac and I decided to chase a plane. When they arial spray for mosquitos they actually touch the tree tops in our back yard. So we tried to get a picture....needless to say we weren't fast enough when it was right over us....so we chased it around the neighborhood for a while. Not exactly sure why, but we sure had fun.

This weekend, Scott's cousin Mark and his family, Kari, Lindsey and Judy were in Devils Lake. We had a great time hanging out with them. Scott was WRAPPED around little Lindsey's finger.

Ahhhh...the life....

Eli loved the water. One of the kids that was playing in the pool came up and splashed him....Eli just giggled.

At the fishing tournament Scott's cousin was participating in. He got 12th out of about 300 boats. Yay!!!

Hope everyone was able to enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend!

7 months! Random....

Elijah turned 7 months this week. Weighing in at 27 lbs. exactly and over 29 inches in a rough measurement. We've learned he only wears clothes a couple of times before moving to the next tote. He's working on some toofers, but still doesn't get too rattled about much.

Just relaxing in the front yard while everyone was busy. Our poor forgotten child!

Isaac is getting excited for kindergarten this fall. He is growing up so fast. Every check up, which is every 2-3 months, he's growing an inch or more. Wonder who he takes after?
Little did we know when we bought this for his 3rd or 4th birthday, that it would be he probably using it as his first car! Good thing he likes it!! His friend Hannah joined him in the tractor business last weekend.
Have a good weekend everyone! We're off to take in a Redhawks game in Fargo...

Perfect Weekend

What a perfect weekend! The weather couldn't have been any nicer. Just a few random pics from some of our weekend hanging out with the family.

Will somebody please open the bottle....anyone? Poor kid.

Eli and I took a little snoozer on the hammock. That sure felt good.

Usually when we mess with his hair, the evidence is gone by morning...oops.

Mmmmm...a piece of pie that grandpa or dad won't have!

Good thing we had our "high speed" camera :-)

So many comments....

Guess Hollywood needed a break from all the paparazzi and groupies to enjoy his eggs.

For those of you who receive the Herald and saw Saturday's paper, there was a picture of a tire in the air at the races. Everyone see it? Well, our neighbor races and Isaac just loves helping him with the car. So Scott and dad took him to the races on Friday. See where this is going? Well, that picture of the tire was taken right after it hit the spot where Scott was sitting...about a foot from where he was sitting when it hit. In the back of my mind, I always figured there would be an "accident" on one of scott and dad's outtings, but didn't see this one coming :-) When we went to Fargo today, Scott got new underwear...and pants.
Hope everyone had a good weekend!!

Enjoying the Wind

The boys enjoyed a windy day.

Eli had a 6 month appoint a couple of weeks ago. Moose is a little over 24 lbs and 27.5 inches long...depending on which time they measured him. There was a 2 inch discrepancy.
Hope everyone is off to enjoy the weekend!
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!
