Our Student of the Week

Hello everyone! At Thompson, every week in the kindergarten class a student becomes student of the week. The student gets special privleges and various perks. Last week was Isaac's turn and he was pretty excited. Isaac brought in baby pictures and was interviewed at home and by the class. The class drew pictures of Isaac and had to share something they liked about him and made a book for him to keep. At the end of the week, Papa Tim and I went to the class for activities. We read a book to the class and answered questions. It was a lot of fun. You can see how much it means to the kids...awesome activity!

Here are some of the pictures from the book. Uncle Ian had given Isaac a shirt from Microsoft that says "I'm a PC"...he had that on the day he was "drawn"....in case you were wondering about the letters :)

This girl has a minor (ok, pretty obvious) crush on Isaac...not sure what happened to the 3rd playmate in this picture.

Happy Spring!

Hello Everyone! Happy spring! We've just been chillin over in ou neck of the woods. Last weekend, Mic and Ian took the boys for most of the weekend. Scott and I were able to go out and sleep the entire night without any alarms! We were pretty excited. We even got to walk down to the gym and work out. What a great weekend! Thanks guys!!!

Eli had his 15 months check up, a little late, but everything is looking good. On the 98% percentile for weight and 97% for height. He weighed in at almost 31 lbs and a little over 34 inches long. His personality is definitely showing through more and more everyday. Think he's going to give his big brother a run for his money!

Here are some of Eli's 1-ish year pics. The first one we went to get them and he wouldn't stop crying, found out the next day he had a double ear infection and a respiratory infection.Round II went much better.

Scott's gone for a long weekend, until Tuesday, so his clones and I hung out. We had a great weekend...the boys spent quite a bit of time playing and reading together. With Sunday being so beautiful, we all got to spend most of the day outside. Eli loves his swing on the swing set and just chills while Isaac and friends helped me with the yard. Overall, a great weekend.

Happy Easter and Misc Pics

Happy Easter everyone!!! What a gorgeous weekend. Lots of time spent outside...walks, park...lots of basketball...Isaac even got to shoot some hoops with grandpa and grandma.

Eli wants to play outside with the kids soooo bad! With a recent double ear infections and some cold stuff going on, he's been sidelined a bit.

Hope you all were able to celebrate the Easter holiday with loved ones. We had a great weekend hanging out with the 4 of us, a date night for Scott and I, and spending time with extended family as well. Turned out to be picture perfect all around.
