Nice Day
Elijah will be 3 months tomorrow. Last night he applied his zen like personality to his sleep. Laid him down last night at 8:30 and at 6:30 the next morning he decided he was hungry. I got a little greedy and thought maybe...just maybe he would take a snacker and lay down for just a bit. No go. You can't tell from this shot, but he's got the "puppy panting" going, the legs kicking, the arms are going and he's giggling. Usually even if he's wide awake you can still lay him down and he'll just chill, but this morning he wanted to play!!!!! But hey, 10 hours of continous sleep was very much appreciated.
Isaac had a big week. Wednesday was kindergarten round up at Thompson. He got to meet his teacher and see his classroom for next fall. Isaac seems raring to go, his dad may need a little more time :-)
Scott's been home this weekend which has been so nice. Isaac and I have been going on dates (grandma has Eli) out to Mayville. We go to the bakery and have a nice lunch...sometimes stop by uncle Dave's to see what new contraption (or building) has surfaced. So we decided to bring daddy out to Mayville and show him our spots. It was nice to spend some time together without having to be somewhere. We even got to run out to Northwood to visit Scott's colleague and friend Mr. Freddy. After some much needed snoozers, Isaac, Tyler and I got to play on the sled and big backyard drifts for a while. Awesome day!
Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather and doing something relaxing and fun :-)

Revelation of the new John Tesh...
So the day started innocently enough, with the boys getting a little quiet time... But then there was a crunching of snow from car tires and closing car doors, and the second seal of Isaac's birthday was opened (Spongebob 3:8)...
And lo, amongst the games and coloring books, Deceptagons, clothing and hockey sticks, a gift rose amongst them. One gift to rule them all; one gift to bring them all and in music bind them (Tolkien 1:17)--...
You can see the synthesizer at the edge of the table--Isaac's already wanted to take it to the bathroom with him!
Isaac's already had several duets with his Aunt Amy (most notably "Old MacDonald", the new single available on iTunes), and is planning on a European tour this fall to support his Samba Elevator album, with Coldplay opening... at least for as long as the batteries last...

Pictures
Isaac has been wrestling with the issue many construction workers often do...where do I put my doll while I'm driving tractor? Hmmm..after consulting with Bohlman Trenching's most senior member, dad had no comment. Shucks.
Eli is still loving life. Sleeps about 8 hours a stretch at night. Sadly, since his parents are rather old, this still means he wakes us up once a night. 3 weeks ago at his 2 month appointment, he was in the 103% for height and 96% for weight. He doesn't seem to mind his moosey status.
Friday the boys got their pictures taken. Isaac preferred to plant a garden in the back of the studio. Even though Eli was well past nap time and was hungry, he was a trooper and gave a couple of good smiles. Here's the link if you would like to see some of the shots. The site has been having some problems. So you may have to retry.
Good Night!
Birthday Party Part I
Isaac began his birthday weekend by celebrating with his friends at the local bowling alley. Isaac had so much fun with everyone!
