Little more drivel from our neck of the woods. Last weekend, Scott and I took Isaac to a Redhawks game. Had a great time...beautiful night for a game. Isaac was so excited to potentially catch a ball...then he realized how fast the ball was coming and had an epiphany. After the tears, we all had a great time.
Took a moment to have a family rock out session on the way home, I believe to Tom Petty. Not sure if all Thompson kindergarteners are big Petty fans, but this one sure is!Isaac got a new bat...did a little tee/pitching to him. He did pretty well. The outfit needs a little work....
Eli was just happy to be a safe distance away.
Scott and Isaac did their first "outdoor" campout of the season. Not sure all the pieces mad it to the final "tent" product, but they seemed to be enjoying themselves.
While Scott was took a break from teaching Isaac tent skills, Isaac and I decided to chase a plane. When they arial spray for mosquitos they actually touch the tree tops in our back yard. So we tried to get a picture....needless to say we weren't fast enough when it was right over us....so we chased it around the neighborhood for a while. Not exactly sure why, but we sure had fun.
This weekend, Scott's cousin Mark and his family, Kari, Lindsey and Judy were in Devils Lake. We had a great time hanging out with them. Scott was WRAPPED around little Lindsey's finger.

Wow, you guys sure stay busy!
When we went to the now annual Stitch n Pitch Red Hawks game earlier this summer (those knitters...) a ball landed about two seats away from us. I saw my life flash before my eyes as it looked like it was falling STRAIGHT FOR MY FACE! Scary times.
Also, Kurt has one of those little Red Hawks bats and it ended up going through one of our windows in our old house. Watch out!
GREAT! The bat smacked me in the face at the game. The people behind us laughed their butts off. Might be why I look cross eyed on my pic for Altru! Yes, I'm blaming a small, innocent child.
I can see where your life would flash before your eyes....a bunch of knitters throwing their hands up in the air can't be a good thing...for anyone :-)
